Key Responsibilities:

• Classroom Management:
  • Maintain a positive and orderly classroom environment, fostering a culture of respect and learning.
  • Effectively manage student behavior, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
  • Follow established classroom routines and procedures as set by the absent teacher.
• Lesson Delivery:
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans or utilize engaging activities to keep students focused and learning.
  • Provide clear instructions and support students in completing assigned tasks.
  • Adapt your approach to cater to different age groups and learning styles.
• Communication and Collaboration:
  • Communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and school administration.
  • Liaise with the absent teacher to gain a clear understanding of lesson plans and expectations.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a smooth school day.
• Safeguarding:
  • Prioritize the safety and well-being of students at all times.
  • Follow all safeguarding procedures as outlined by the school.
  • Report any concerns regarding student well-being to the appropriate staff member.
