About the Role:

• Teach a full range of English courses, catering to various student needs and abilities (up to Key Stage 5).

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel supported and challenged to achieve their full potential.
• Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Play a key role in the school's English department, collaborating with colleagues on curriculum development and assessment strategies.
• Contribute to the pastoral care of students, fostering their well-being and personal development.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English or a relevant subject.
• A minimum of two years' experience teaching English in a secondary school setting (desirable).
• Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the English language and literature.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• The ability to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
