Role Overview: We seek an enthusiastic and skilled Engineering Teacher to join our dedicated faculty. The successful candidate will captivate students with engaging and practical engineering lessons, balancing theoretical instruction with hands-on experience. This position involves teaching a range of engineering topics to students at different educational stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive engineering curriculum.
- Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Teach engineering concepts across various subjects, including mechanics, electronics, robotics, and design technology.
- Supervise hands-on projects and experiments to build students' practical skills and understanding.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to integrate engineering into interdisciplinary projects.
- Offer personalised support and mentorship to students, encouraging their academic and personal growth.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends and developments in engineering education.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Engineering, Engineering Education, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
- Previous experience teaching engineering or related subjects at the secondary level.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles and practical applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to fostering a creative, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
