About the Role:

Are you passionate about empowering students through the magic of code? This exciting opportunity allows a dedicated and creative instructor to inspire the next generation of programmers. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and interactive coding lessons, catering to students at various levels (GCSE and A-Level may be applicable).

Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Delivery:
  • Design and deliver engaging coding lessons that foster a love for programming and computational thinking in students.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including project-based learning and interactive coding platforms, to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Develop students' problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills through practical coding exercises and projects.
  • Prepare students for success in relevant coding certifications or examinations (if applicable).
• Hands-on Learning:
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration of various programming languages and technologies.
  • Guide students in developing their coding skills through individual and collaborative projects that address real-world challenges.
  • Promote effective use of technology and relevant software within the classroom.
• Student Support and Assessment:
  • Provide personalized feedback and guidance to support students in their coding journey.
  • Utilize effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of engaging and up-to-date learning materials for the coding curriculum.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified Coding Instructor or relevant field experience with a minimum of 2 years' experience working with students (part-time experience may be considered).
• A demonstrable passion for coding and a strong understanding of current programming languages and trends.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• The ability to design and deliver engaging and interactive coding lessons that promote practical application.
• Commitment to high standards and creating a positive and supportive learning environment.
