Key Responsibilities:

• Curriculum Development and Delivery:

  • Design and deliver engaging lessons that spark student interest and challenge them to develop their artistic skills and critical thinking abilities.
  • Utilize a variety of engaging teaching methods, including demonstrations, discussions, collaborative projects, and differentiated instruction to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Prepare students for any relevant external examinations (if applicable).
• Fostering Artistic Growth:
  • Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages experimentation, risk-taking, and individuality in artistic expression.
  • Introduce students to diverse artists and art movements, fostering a global perspective and appreciation for the evolution of art.
  • Integrate technology effectively to enhance learning experiences and encourage innovative approaches to artistic creation (if applicable).

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified Art Teacher with a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
• A contagious passion for art education and a commitment to fostering creativity, artistic exploration, and personal expression in students.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a strong understanding of various art disciplines, techniques, and historical contexts.
• Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to design and deliver engaging, interactive, and differentiated Art lessons.
• A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a positive, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
