The Role

In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in nurturing future mathematicians. Your responsibilities will include:

• Curriculum Leadership and Delivery:
  • Develop and deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons that adhere to the National Curriculum and inspire a love of learning in the subject.
  • Integrate innovative teaching methods, including interactive activities, technology integration, and real-world applications, to cater to diverse learning styles and prepare students for success in external examinations.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in the Mathematics curriculum and implement effective strategies to ensure all students achieve their full potential.
• Assessment and Differentiation:
  • Utilize a variety of assessment methods to diagnose student needs, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Implement differentiated instruction to meet the individual needs of all learners, fostering an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
• Professional Development and Collaboration:
  • Actively participate in the school's professional development program, continuously seeking to improve your teaching practice.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Mathematics department and across the school to ensure a cohesive learning experience for students.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Mathematics Teacher with a minimum of two years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
