The Role (Part-Time):

This exciting opportunity allows you to play a crucial role in shaping the future tech minds of tomorrow. You'll be responsible for:

• Captivating the Classroom:
  • Design and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons that spark curiosity, ignite a passion for coding, and promote problem-solving and computational thinking skills.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including interactive activities, hands-on learning (if applicable), technology integration, and real-world applications, to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Prepare students for success in relevant A-Level Computer Science examinations 
• Building Confidence in Coding:
  • Develop students' programming skills and nurture their understanding of computer science principles.
  • Encourage students to tackle challenges, persevere through difficulties, and develop a growth mindset.
• Fostering a Love for Technology:
  • Implement effective strategies to develop students' critical thinking, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities within the context of computer science.
  • Provide constructive feedback and personalized guidance to help students achieve their full academic potential.
  • Utilize differentiated instruction to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.

We're Looking For:

• A qualified Computer Science Teacher with experience teaching in a sixth form or similar setting.
• A demonstrable passion for Computer Science and a commitment to inspiring a love for coding in young people.
• Excellent subject knowledge across all areas of the A-Level Computer Science curriculum.
• Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to design and deliver engaging, interactive, and differentiated Computer Science lessons.
• A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
