The Role
In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in promoting physical literacy, developing a love for movement, and fostering a positive attitude towards physical activity, particularly amongst young women. Your responsibilities will include:

Curriculum Leadership and Delivery:
- Develop and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons that cater to a variety of abilities and interests, ensuring a strong focus on encouraging girls' participation in sports and physical activities.
- Utilize a variety of innovative teaching methods, including practical activities, differentiated instruction, technology integration, and interdisciplinary approaches, to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and celebrates individual achievements.
- Prepare students for success in relevant PE qualifications.

Promoting Girls' Participation and Leadership:
- Develop and implement strategies to actively encourage girls to participate in PE lessons, extracurricular sports teams, and leadership opportunities within the PE department.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that empowers girls to develop confidence and competence in a variety of sports and physical activities.

The Ideal Candidate
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Female PE Teacher with a minimum of two years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
- A demonstrably strong subject knowledge across all areas of the PE curriculum, with a particular focus on sports and activities relevant to girls' interests.
- Excellent pedagogical skills and the ability to design and deliver engaging, inclusive, and differentiated PE lessons.
