The Role:

In this pivotal role, you'll play a key part in our mission to cultivate confidence, leadership, and a love for movement in young women. Your responsibilities include:

• Captivating the Classroom:
  • Design and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons that cater to a variety of abilities and interests, fostering a love for physical activity in all students.
  • Utilize a variety of innovative teaching methods, including practical activities, game-based learning, technology integration, and differentiated instruction to cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Create a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and celebrates individual achievements.
  • Prepare students for success in relevant PE qualifications.
• Building Confidence in Movement:
  • Develop students' competence and confidence in a variety of sports and physical activities, ensuring a focus on activities relevant to girls' interests.
  • Implement strategies to promote healthy habits and a lifelong love for physical activity.
• Fostering Leadership and Teamwork:
  • Develop and implement strategies to cultivate leadership skills and opportunities for girls within the PE department and extracurricular sports teams.
  • Promote a collaborative learning environment that encourages teamwork and sportsmanship.

The Ideal Candidate

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Female PE Teacher with a minimum of two years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting, preferably within an all-girls environment. The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:

• A demonstrably strong subject knowledge across all areas of the PE curriculum, with a particular passion for sports and activities relevant to girls' interests.
• Excellent pedagogical skills and the ability to design and deliver engaging, inclusive, and differentiated PE lessons.
• A strong commitment to promoting girls' participation in sports and physical activity, fostering a supportive and empowering learning environment.
• A dedication to promoting student well-being and the ability to create a safe and positive learning environment.
