The Role

In this pivotal role, you will play a key part in promoting physical literacy, developing a love for movement, and fostering a positive attitude towards physical activity. Your responsibilities will include:

• Captivating the Classroom:
  • Design and deliver engaging and inclusive PE lessons that cater to a variety of abilities and interests, ensuring a focus on promoting participation and enjoyment in physical activity.
  • Utilize a variety of innovative teaching methods, including practical activities, games, technology integration, and differentiated instruction, to foster a love for movement in all students.
  • Ensure a safe and positive learning environment that promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, and celebrates individual achievements.
  • Prepare students for success in relevant PE qualifications.
• Building Confidence in Movement:
  • Develop students' competence and confidence in a variety of sports and physical activities.
  • Encourage students to adopt healthy habits and develop a lifelong love for physical activity.
• Fostering Teamwork and Sportsmanship:
  • Instill the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy competition within PE lessons.
  • Provide opportunities for students to participate in extracurricular sports teams.
