Location: Reading
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Start Date: September 2024

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PE Teacher to join our school in Reading on a full-time, permanent basis starting September 2024. The successful candidate will have a passion for physical education and a commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle among students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective PE lessons to students of all abilities.
  • Develop and implement a curriculum that meets educational standards and encourages physical activity.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, fitness, and well-being.
  • Organize and coach extracurricular sports activities and teams.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Physical Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching PE at the secondary school level.
  • Strong knowledge of current PE teaching practices and sports coaching.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
