Role:

  • Position: Geography Teacher
  • Start Date: September 2024
  • Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Salary: Paid to scale (MPS, UPS)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons to students at KS3 and 4 levels
  • Develop and implement a creative and dynamic Geography curriculum
  • Foster a love for Geography through innovative teaching methods and fieldwork
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the wider school community and participate in extra-curricular activities

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A degree in Geography or a related field
  • Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and school improvement
