They are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Art and Design Teacher to join their team in a full-time, permanent position starting this September.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire and nurture the next generation of artists and designers within a supportive and collaborative environment. This role entails:

• Designing and delivering engaging Art and Design lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, in line with the national curriculum and school's educational objectives.
• Cultivating a passion for art and design in students, encouraging them to explore their creative potential and develop essential skills.
• Assessing student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic development.
• Collaborating with colleagues within the Art and Design department and wider school community to enrich the curriculum and extracurricular offerings.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Art, Design, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Proven experience teaching Art and Design at the secondary level.
• A strong understanding of various artistic mediums, techniques, and historical contexts.
• Demonstrated ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters creativity and critical thinking.
