Position Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to inspire young learners and cultivate their linguistic abilities in French and Spanish. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging and effective lessons in French and Spanish across Key Stages 3 and 4, adhering to the national curriculum and utilizing a variety of teaching methodologies.
• Assess student progress through a range of formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their learning.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation, collaboration, and cultural awareness.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the Modern Foreign Languages department to enhance the overall language program and contribute to extracurricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in French, Spanish, or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Demonstrated experience teaching French and Spanish at the secondary level.
• A strong command of both French and Spanish, ideally with native or near-native fluency.
• A passion for language education and a commitment to fostering students' language learning journeys.
