Position Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a stimulating and enriching English curriculum to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5. You will play a pivotal role in fostering students' literacy skills, critical thinking abilities, and appreciation for literature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging English lessons aligned with the national curriculum and the school's educational ethos.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and fosters a love of language.
- Assess student progress through a variety of methods and provide constructive feedback to promote individual growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the English department and across the wider school community.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in English Language, Literature, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching English at the secondary level.
