The Role:

• Teach Design Technology across key stages 3 and 4, tailoring lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
• Inspire students with a passion for design, problem-solving, and the creative use of materials.
• Develop and deliver engaging and challenging lessons that encourage practical skills alongside theoretical knowledge.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
• Maintain and manage a well-equipped DT department, ensuring a safe and stimulating learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with a specialization in Design Technology (QTS essential).
• Experience in teaching DT at secondary level, with a proven track record of success.
• Strong subject knowledge in areas such as product design, resistant materials, graphics, and systems & control.
• A creative and innovative approach to teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a commitment to the holistic development of students.
