Job Role: Head of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Phase Leader
Key Stage: Early Years
Working Pattern: Full time: 32.5 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent
Pay Scale: MPS/UPS with TLR2a
Start Date: January 2025 or earlier

EYFS Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the diverse needs of EYFS students.
- Implement effective teaching strategies to inspire and motivate young learners.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and setting goals for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative curriculum materials and share best practices.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment that fosters respectful behavior and positive relationships.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, offering updates on student progress and addressing any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other school activities.
Teacher Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
· Proven experience teaching EYFS students in a primary school setting.
· Excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners.
· Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest educational practices.
· Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
