About Us:
Our well-established school in Ealing is seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to join our team. We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students, and the SENCO plays a vital role in ensuring that our students with special educational needs receive the appropriate support and resources.
About the Role:
As the SENCO, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing the school's provision for students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
- Identifying, assessing, and supporting students with SEND
- Developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Liaising with external agencies and professionals
- Providing advice and guidance to teachers, parents, and other stakeholders
- Promoting a positive and inclusive culture within the school
Requirements:
- Qualified SENCO with a proven track record of success in supporting students with SEND
- Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commitment to providing a high-quality education for all students
