About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead and inspire a dedicated team of Geography teachers, playing a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of geographers. You will be responsible for the strategic development and delivery of the Geography curriculum across Key Stage 3 (Years 7-8) and potentially Key Stage 4 (Years 9-11).

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Learning:
• Teach a full timetable of engaging and stimulating Geography lessons, demonstrating strong subject knowledge and pedagogical skills.
• Utilize a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and ensure all students reach their full potential.
• Employ effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and inform future teaching.

The Ideal Candidate:

• A qualified Geography teacher with a minimum of 5 years’ successful teaching experience, including significant leadership experience.
• A proven track record of raising standards in Geography and a demonstrable passion for the subject.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
