The Role:

As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering a stimulating and comprehensive English curriculum to students of varying abilities. You will be expected to create engaging lesson plans, assess student progress effectively, and foster a love of literature and language in your pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Assess student progress through regular formative and summative assessments.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning and development.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a degree in English or a related subject.
• Possesses Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Demonstrates a proven track record of successful teaching experience in English at Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5.
• Exhibits a passion for English literature and language, and a commitment to inspiring students.
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
