Our esteemed client, a leading secondary school in Brighton renowned for its academic excellence and nurturing environment, is seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their thriving department starting ASAP. This full-time, permanent position offers a unique opportunity to inspire and educate students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

Role Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Delivering engaging and thought-provoking English lessons to KS3, KS4, and KS5 students.
• Designing and implementing innovative lesson plans aligned with the school's curriculum objectives.
• Assessing student progress effectively and providing constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement.
• Collaborating with colleagues to enrich the department's overall performance and contribute to a vibrant learning community.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the latest pedagogical approaches and curriculum developments within the field of English.

Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A degree in English or a related discipline.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
• A demonstrable track record of successfully teaching English across KS3, KS4, and KS5.
• A passion for literature and language, coupled with a strong commitment to student achievement and well-being.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and colleagues alike.
