The Role

• Lead and coordinate the provision of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) support within the school.
• Assess and identify students with SEND and develop appropriate Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that students with SEND receive the support they need to succeed.
• Promote a positive and inclusive culture within the school.
• Represent the school in relation to SEND matters.

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified SENCO with a proven track record of success in supporting students with SEND.
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation, policy, and practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and other professionals.
