They are seeking a passionate and experienced Design & Technology Teacher to join their dedicated faculty. Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be instrumental in empowering students to develop their creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical proficiency within an International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum. This role entails fostering a dynamic and hands-on learning environment that encourages innovation, collaboration, and a lifelong love of design and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP) Design & Technology curriculum to students in Grades 6 to 12.
• Design and implement engaging project-based learning experiences that promote critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Prepare and mark a wide range of assessments following MYP and DP protocols.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and styles of students.
• Teach and promote design thinking and technological literacy using a range of student-centered teaching strategies, resources, and technology.
• Embed IB "Approaches to Learning" in the curriculum delivery.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to establish interdisciplinary links and integrate design & technology into other subject areas.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of the latest advancements in design & technology education.

Education and Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Design & Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
• International Baccalaureate curriculum experience (preferred)
• Fluency in both verbal and written English

Knowledge and Skills:

• Full knowledge of the subject matter and latest developments in design & technology education.
• Ability to deliver outstanding lessons using diverse teaching strategies and resources.
• Enthusiasm and passion for teaching Design & Technology.
• Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Excellent practitioner of innovative teaching strategies.
• Proficiency in relevant design software and technologies.
