An outstanding SEN school in North London is looking for a creative and passionate SEN Art Teacher to inspire and engage students with special educational needs through art. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Art Teacher with a commitment to inclusive education.

Responsibilities:

• Teach art to students with a variety of SEN needs, adapting lessons to meet individual abilities.
• Foster creativity and self-expression in students through engaging and innovative art projects.
• Collaborate with support staff and SENCo to ensure students’ needs are met.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.

Experience and Qualifications:

• QTS with a specialism in Art.
• Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with ASD or learning difficulties.
• Strong knowledge of the art curriculum and adaptive teaching techniques.
• A clear DBS check.
