The Role

• Teach engaging and stimulating Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and potentially Key Stage 4.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of a stimulating and challenging Geography curriculum.
• Oversee the quality of teaching, learning, and assessment in Geography.
• Identify and implement innovative teaching and learning strategies.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive environment within the Geography department.
• Maintain strong links with external geographical societies and organizations.
• Develop and manage the department’s resources budget effectively.

The Ideal Candidate

• A qualified Geography teacher with a minimum of 5 years’ successful teaching experience.
• A proven track record of raising standards in Geography and a demonstrable passion for the subject.
• Excellent subject knowledge and a commitment to staying abreast of current trends and developments in Geography education.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire colleagues.
