Position: SEN Teaching Assistant

The school is a specialist provision for students with PMLD, offering a highly supportive and nurturing environment. They have state-of-the-art facilities, including sensory rooms and hydrotherapy.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for students with PMLD, including personal care.
  • Use sensory strategies to promote engagement.
  • Work with therapists and medical staff to meet student needs.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with PMLD students.
  • Training in personal care and moving/handling.
  • DBS check required.
