A forward-thinking school in Southampton is looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Type: Full-time, Contract
Location: Barnet

School Information:
This school has a well-established SEN department, offering a range of interventions to support students with ASD. They seek a TA to work on a 1:1 basis with students, encouraging both social and academic growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support for students with ASD.
  • Help develop students’ communication and social skills.
  • Work with the SEN team to implement effective learning strategies.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Experience working with ASD students.
  • Knowledge of autism support strategies.
  • DBS check required.
