It is easily accessible by public transport and seeking to appoint a qualified Year 3 teacher with experience leading a subject or year group from October 2024. Year 3 Teacher responsibilities:
- Manage the teaching of Year 3
- To raise standards of student attainment and achievement within the whole curriculum area
- Plan and organise schemes of work in line with the school's curriculum and national standards
- Assess and evaluate Year 3 student progress using a range of formative and summative assessment strategies
- Provide regular feedback to Year 3 students, parents and colleagues on student progress
- Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences
Year 3 Teacher requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, PGCE or related field
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent qualification
- Up-to-date knowledge of the primary school curriculum and national teaching standards
- At least 2 years' experience teaching KS2
- Experience leading a subject or year group
- Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills
- A passion for education and a commitment to student welfare
- An ability to inspire and motivate Year 3 students of all abilities.
