Science Teacher Opportunity - Brighton Secondary School

On behalf of our esteemed client, a leading secondary school in Brighton, we are actively seeking a highly motivated and experienced Science Teacher to join their faculty starting ASAP. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary (MPS/UPS Salary Scale: M1 to UPS3) and the chance to contribute to a dynamic and supportive educational environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver inspiring and informative Science lessons to students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the National Curriculum and school's educational philosophy.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate learning and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues within the Science department and across the wider school community.
  • Stay abreast of developments in Science education and incorporate innovative teaching methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Science or a related discipline.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Science at the secondary level (KS3/4/5).
  • A passion for Science and a commitment to inspiring young minds.
