Role Overview: As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students. You will foster a love for learning while preparing them for their transition to secondary school. Your role will involve:

• Designing and implementing a creative curriculum that aligns with national standards.
• Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing feedback and support to enhance their learning.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
• Engaging with parents and the wider school community to support student development.
• Contributing to the overall ethos and values of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality lessons that engage and inspire Year 6 students.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the varied learning needs of all students.
• Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor and support student progress.
• Maintain a safe and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to school improvement initiatives.

What We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a primary school setting, preferably in Year 6.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering student development.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
