Our esteemed client, a leading secondary school in Reigate, Surrey, is seeking a highly qualified and dynamic English Teacher to join their renowned English department. This full-time, permanent position offers a stimulating environment for a passionate educator to make a lasting impact on the academic and personal development of students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Delivering inspiring and engaging English lessons that foster a love of literature and language in students of all abilities.
• Designing and implementing innovative lesson plans and assessments that align with the national curriculum and school's educational philosophy.
• Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and creativity.
• Building strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and effective approach to teaching and learning.
• Participating in departmental meetings and professional development activities to continuously enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven track record of successful teaching experience at the secondary level, preferably across KS3/4/5.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong passion for English literature and language, and a commitment to inspiring students to reach their full potential.
