Responsibilities of the Year 5 Teacher:

• Delivering the Key Stage 2 curriculum to Year 5 pupils, tailoring lessons to meet the diverse needs of the class and fostering a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Supporting students’ social and emotional development, encouraging teamwork, respect, and confidence among Year 5 learners.
• Developing literacy and numeracy skills through well-structured, differentiated lessons that challenge and engage students.
• Monitoring progress, assessing achievements, and providing regular feedback to both students and parents to support each child’s growth.
• Working closely with colleagues and support staff to ensure a cohesive and enjoyable learning experience.
