Learning Support Assistant – Specialist Autism School – Clacton-on-Sea

Role Highlights

Experience & Qualifications

• Prior experience in autism support, special educational needs (SEN), or related fields is preferred, although candidates with a strong interest in supporting students with autism will also be considered
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to implement structured routines that benefit students with varying needs
• A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach to working with students, understanding the importance of adapting to individual learning styles and challenges
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with teachers, support staff, and families
• A current and clear Enhanced DBS check is essential to ensure the safety and well-being of all students
