On behalf of our esteemed client, a well-regarded secondary school in Manchester, we are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Music Teacher to join their faculty. This full-time, permanent position commences immediately and offers an exciting opportunity to inspire young musicians and cultivate a lifelong love of music.

Position Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive music education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a pivotal role in fostering musical talent, developing students' theoretical knowledge and practical skills, and promoting an appreciation for diverse musical genres and traditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver innovative lesson plans that align with the national curriculum and the school's musical vision.
• Create a vibrant and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation, creativity, and individual expression.
• Assess student progress through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to support their musical growth.
• Direct and rehearse school ensembles, choirs, and bands, preparing students for performances and competitions.
• Contribute to the school's wider musical community by organizing concerts, workshops, and other extracurricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Music or a related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Demonstrated experience teaching Music at the secondary level.
• A strong foundation in music theory, history, and performance practices.
• Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments and genres.
