The Role:

• Deliver engaging and effective Biology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on your specialism and experience.
• Foster a love of biology in students, encouraging them to explore the wonders of life through practical experiments, investigations, and fieldwork.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of a dynamic and innovative Biology curriculum, aligned with the National Curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help each student reach their full potential.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the teaching of Biology across the department.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Biology.
• A proven track record of successful teaching and learning outcomes in Biology.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• A passion for Biology and a commitment to inspiring students.
