The Role:

• Deliver engaging and interactive Music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on your specialism and experience.
• Foster a love of music in students, encouraging them to explore a variety of musical genres, instruments, and performance styles.
• Create a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where students feel confident to express themselves musically and develop their musical talents.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of an innovative Music curriculum that caters to a range of musical interests and abilities.
• Lead and direct school ensembles, choirs, and bands, providing opportunities for students to perform and showcase their musical skills.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their musical development.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Music.
• A proven track record of successful teaching and learning outcomes in Music.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners.
• A passion for Music and a commitment to fostering musical talent in young people.
• Proficiency in a range of musical instruments and/or vocal techniques.
